Best Theme Parks in Florida
Florida is home to some of the world’s best theme parks. The sun, the pleasant weather, and the fun filled rides will make your visit to Florida truly enjoyable. If you’re planning to head to the theme parks you should consider buying Orlando Flex Tickets for 2014 as you can visit many of the parks for a ridiculously cheap price. There are a number of great parks to check out in Florida and here are some of our favourites:
Universal Studios Florida
This TV-based theme park is a great place to visit for all movie enthusiasts. Even if you’re not, it’s still a fun experience to be part of the films you’ve seen.
You could try the rides that are based on popular movies such as Men in Black Alien Attack, Revenge of the Mummy and E.T. Adventure. There are also shows that can give you a glimpse of movie production like the Horror Make-up Show. As it is movie-based, Universal Studios tend to be more educational than thrilling. But it is no less enjoyable.
Universal Islands of Adventure
Universal Studios might be a little subtle. But Universal’s Island of Adventure is definitely adrenaline pumping with all the various rides it offers. True to its name, the place is surrounded with water, giving you that tropical island feel. Who would’ve thought that Hogwarts is in a tropical island? Okay, so it’s not the real Hogwarts but it is definitely the nearest thing. So, never miss to visit the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Other popular attractions at the Islands of Adventure are: Jurassic Park, Marvel Super Hero Island, The Lost Continent and Seuss Landing.
SeaWorld Orlando
SeaWorld is definitely the place to unleash that animal lover in you. You could get your adrenaline pumping with the sea slash animal-themed rides such as Shamu Express, Journey to Atlantis, and Kraken. But if you opt for less exhilarating rides, you could try the Sea Carousel, Swishy Fishies, and Empire of the Penguin.
Your day is bound to be busy with all the rides that you need to line up for. But SeaWorld is really about the animals. So while you’re there make sure that you get to see the adorable Polar Bears, walruses, whales, dolphins, and even the scary sharks.
Wet ‘n Wild Orlando
While you’re visiting the Universal Orlando Resort, be sure to drop by at Wet ‘n Wild and get ready to be, of course, wet and wild. One thing do is to test your fear of heights – challenge yourself with a six-story free fall plunge.
Aquatica Orlando
There are three Aquatica water parks in America. They are owned by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. The one in Orlando has a southern Pacific feel to its design. Popular attractions are Dolphin Plunge, Whanau Way, and Walhalla Wave.
