Hit The Reset Button And Change Your Life
One of the best things about life is that you get a brand new fresh start every single morning. In fact, if you really want a fresh start, you can pretty much hit the reset button any second. Depending on your relationship with time, you can hit the reboot switch and start again.
Our health is a great place to start. It gives us a completely new feel about everything. If we are eating the wrong foods then this can have a negative impact on our decisions and concentration. If you find yourself feeling sluggish, slow and like you are carrying a little too much weight, make a change. Be deliberate and focussed. If you make a mistake, it isn’t the end of the world. Just start again and keep going.
Hydration is another area that affects the way we function during the day. It can impair our ability to make smart choices and make us feel tired and grumpy. Stepping up your hydration doesn’t take much effort. You just need to pour yourself a glass of water and keep it topped up. If you feel thirsty then you are already dehydrated. Increase how much you drink gradually until you have a good routine.
Most of us are guilty of hitting the snooze button in the morning. This is a pretty good sign you aren’t getting to bed early enough. Or that you are not getting a good quality sleep. So stop putting off a change in habits. An hour before bed relax, refresh and rejuvenate. Ditch the late night nibbles and slip off before 11pm. Try to get 8 hours a night and after a few days you will feel so much better. You will also notice your skin and eyes look brighter too.
Sitting around thinking about starting a new fitness program isn’t going to get you the body you want. So instead just jump up and do something. If you aren’t ready to take the plunge full on, then take 30 minutes out of your day to go for a walk. Most of us find exercise hard because we haven’t formed a good routine. So work on making the time first, then increase the intensity.
Life is brilliant because we are given a fresh new morning to restart things. You don’t need to wait for the new year to restart a healthy life or a new habit. Treat every morning as a fresh page and rewrite the way you live. It can help to make a list of all the areas you are unhappy with, you can work on one area at a time and then tick it off once you have made the change.
Find support from your friends and online then push yourself a little more to achieve the desired changes. It won’t take long for you to make these new choices a part of your daily life and you will feel like a completely new person in no time!
