Redecorating? Here’s why you Should Consider Wall Murals

If you’re redecorating your home, you probably know that you have a lot of choices to make. Will you go with neutrals in the bathroom or black and white? And will you splurge for those pretty tiles in the kitchen or try to stick to the budget?

For those wanting to try something a little different and ensure their house stands out from everyone else’s, using a wall mural as a talking point and way to draw the eye can be a great idea.

There are many ways that you can use wall murals to show your personality and add mood and atmosphere to any room in your home, and here are just a few:

Liven up your kid’s rooms

Kids grow so fast, and if you’re wanting to really make their room feel like something out of a fairytale or cartoon, a wall mural is the way to go. Boys will love Pirates, Hidden Treasure or Animals in the Jungle, while girls will be enchanted with the unicorn on Winter Dawn or the pretty castle on A Winter Wonderland.

Older kids will love The Astronaut or the dinosaur from Wee Rex, while the Colourful Solar System is great for kids interested in science. Older girls may like the Horses in Snow mural, which features horses galloping “out of the wall”, and the Earth Moon and Saturn with a New Sun will make kids feel like they’re living on another planet.

Bring your living room to life

There are many incredible feature wall murals to choose from, and they’re easily installed so you’ll have one less thing to worry about when you’re redecorating your home. For those who love animals, the Kings of the Beach is a cute mural with penguins that look like they’ll wander straight off the wall, while the Horses Black and White is a more muted look that would work in a room with neutrals. For something ridiculously cute, the Giraffe has to be a contender, as it pokes its head around and looks the viewer dead in the eye.

For something a little more wild, the Tiger Close Up will have your friends talking for days, as will the Brink of Extinction mural which is a fierce lion.

Get artsy in your kitchen

Kitchens are great places for wall mural, as they’re generally spacious and feature muted colours to really let the wall mural tell the story. Check out the times Square Abstract, get a little crazy with Grunge, or have the best of two categories with Tiger Art.

The Abstract Doodles would work well in a black and white kitchen, while the Goddess mural is a great option for those wanting something a little different.

Make your bedroom pop

There are so many wall murals that look great in adult bedrooms. Love travel? Consider getting a travel themed mural like a map or a country theme. Want something a little more restful? The forest and tree wallpaper are sure to have you sleeping soundly.
