Being stuck in quarantine isn’t fun, and one of the biggest challenges many of us will face is how to start fit and healthy when we can’t live our normal lives. I love running to this song for the awesome lyrics. It starts off strong “Step by step I’ll keep it up, I won’t slow, I gotta go” and keeps the pace the whole way through. It’s got a special stadium feel which can be a great way to break up your running playlist.
5. “No More Runnin” – Animal Collective
This is a slower beat song which is the perfect end to a run. Whether you pop it on for the last few minutes of your run, or listen to it when you’re cooling down, it’s the perfect way to come back to reality.
I find music such an important part of exercise, whether you’re outside hitting the pavement or enjoying a nice run on your treadmill at home. Picking your favourite songs to run along to will help keep you motivated and energised, especially when you hit a slump in the middle.
