Sometimes, it can seem like one day just runs into another. If you’ve been wrapped up in routine, and you’re desperate for a fun night out, this is the post for you.

Dinner in Liverpool
Ready to try something different? There are so many #TrulyScruptious options in Liverpool that it can be difficult to choose. If you haven’t yet checked out Liverpool ONE, you’ve been missing out. Liverpool ONE has a wide range of restaurants and bars to choose from, along with suggestions that you may not have heard of.
One of the best ways to find a new restaurant is to search by category on the Liverpool One website. Once you’ve narrowed down your search, you can check the websites and social media of the restaurants you’re considering. Some restaurants will advertise great deals on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and you can also get a sneak peak at the menu, or check out some of the reviews.
Personally I’d love to check out Yee Rah – I’m such a big fan of Thai food and saw online that they have a two course lunch menu for £11.95. Usually I try to bring lunch from home, but I may just have to make an exception! If you’re craving some comfort food there’s also a handful of Italian restaurants, such as Jamie’s Italian, and an assortment of English restaurants such as Browns bar and Brasserie.
Hit the town
Finished a delicious meal and ready to let loose? Liverpool is packed with bars and clubs, with an excellent nightlife- particularly between Hanover Street and The Terrace. Planning a night out with the girls? Check out Palm Sugar Lounge for swanky cocktails. Or chill out at Roxy Ball Room where you can be a kid again with pool and ping pong. Want to enjoy the outdoors? Wahaca’s Rooftop Garden is the place to be in summer.
Keep it low key
When was the last time you watched a movie that wasn’t from The Pirate Bay or Netflix? There’s something almost old-fashioned about actually going to the movies now, which is why it can be such a good option for a fun night out after dinner. Check out the new releases, and flip a coin if you and your friends or significant other can’t choose.
Check out the events
If you’re planning your fun night out in advance, be sure to take a look at some of the many events in Liverpool. In August, there are a number of Cass Art Events to look forward to, while Tate Liverpool Presents runs from June to mid-October- with three artists exploring historical narratives through their work.
Go for a wander
Liverpool is a lovely, walkable city. Hanover Street is packed with bars and restaurants, Peter’s Lane is where you’ll find posh designer fashion, while Paradise Street is a mixture of food, technology, coffee, and fashion.
